I just delivered four mobile exhibition walls to a library in Växjö. They are painted in the color of the library´s graphic profile, and will be used for an anniversary exhibition of the library: It is actually 350 years old, and the building is 50 years (architect: Erik Uluots).
I take a look at the website, and find a really solid program for the celebration: The authors Aris Fioretos and Åsa Moberg will show up, the professor of literature Ebba Witt-Brattström will give a lecture, and the Swedish minister of culture and democracy, Alice Bah Kuhnke, will talk about the key role of the library in the contemporary society.
The walls are made of 12 mm mdf-boards, are running on twin-wheels and can be connected by the eccentric locks. The construction is really flexible - you can easily move the blocks around, connect them to each other (4, 3+1, 2+2), and completely rearrange the room if necessary.
